THURSDAY March 2nd
Dr. Suess Day as part of the Read Across America Initiative.
Bush Elementary School has invited AMRC to read to students on Dr. Seuss reading day. This used to be Read Across America, in which many of you previously participated.
As you know you can participate in any of 3 ways:
1. Sign up to read to students. The event is scheduled March 2nd between 8:15 - 10:30a. Sign up for 1 or 2 hours, whatever your schedule permits. IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO READ PLEASE NOTIFY KELVIN ASAP WITH YOUR AVAILABLE TIME SLOT.
2. Donate interesting books. Anything you have that might interest a pre-K through 5th grader is welcome.
3. Donate cash ($5, $10, or $20). Give funds to me or Nancy Williams. Thank you Nance for agreeing to shop for books or donate the cash. CASH DONATIONS MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN MARCH 24, 2023.
While books and money are always helpful, it is really important these kids see us (leaders in the community) and benefit from our presence in the school. If you are available, please consider signing up to read.
