In this time of economic crisis, many Rotarians are finding themselves in an unfortunate state so many Americans are experiencing, unemployment. We believe Rotarians should help each other, so Districts 5790 and 5810 are launching the Districts 5790 and 5810 Virtual Jobs Fair.
Rotarian members of our districts with job opportunities can post them here. Rotarians desiring a job will be able to look for opportunities that fit their skills and Rotarian employers can be assured of hiring a person of integrity and ethical character. This is Rotarians helping Rotarians.
• Purpose: Connect Rotarians looking for a job with Rotarians looking for good people.
• Execution: The intent is for this to be a ’self-serve’ system where Rotarians can contact each other to arrange interviews, etc.
• Duration: The initial plan is 120 days. This may change depending on circumstances.
• Repository: Dropbox will provide a secure location where Rotarians resumes can be uploaded and job opportunities can be posted.
• Job seekers: Resumes will be posted with a document title indicating their name, type of job their are seeking and their preferred industry.
• Employers:. Resumes can be reviewed in the Resume Folder and downloaded as desired.
• Dealing with Resumes: To be ‘fair to all concerned’, participants will be required to remove their listings when the jobs are filled.
