HOW TO JOIN
Step 1 Get to know us; let us get to know you!
We meet on Tuesdays at noon, or
Participate in one of our volunteer programs.
Step 2 Find a Sponsor
Ask an AMRC member to sponsor you.
Step 3 Apply for Membership
Fill out and submit the New Member Application
Step 4 Approval
Upon Board and Club approval, you will be invited to join AMRC.
You will be presented with new member Rotary literature
Upon your payment of initiation fee, you will be inducted into the Addison Midday Rotary Club and presented your Badge
Step 6 Attend
A New Member Orientation course will be scheduled for you.
Step 7 Complete the New Member Requirements
1. Greet members and guest at the door (Four Times);
2. Attend one board meeting;
3. Two months perfect attendance (including make-ups);
4. Lead Prayer and pledge once;
5. Sign up for one of the committees;
6. Bring in a potential new member;
7. Do one vocational talk.
MEMBERSHIP
The Addison Midday Rotary Club is composed of adult persons who demonstrate good character, integrity, and leadership; possess good reputation within their business, profession, and / or community; and are willing to serve in their community and /or around the world."
The Addison Midday Rotary Club has five types of membership:
An Active Member is an individual elected to the club but not as a Corporate, Household, Under 40, or Honorary Member.
A Corporate Member is an individual elected to the club under the Corporate Membership Policy.
A Household Member must be a spouse, family member, or partner of an Active Member living at the same address.
An Under 40 Member must be under the age of 40 when applying for membership in this club. If elected, this person's membership shall expire upon the beginning of the next quarter after the member's 40th birthday, at which time membership continues but not as an Under 40 membership.
An Honorary Member must be recognized by the club for distinguished meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals and be considered a friend of Rotary for their permanent support of Rotary's cause.
