On October 12, 2022, the Addison Midday Rotary Club donated 12 cases of XL gloves to the Addison Fire Department. One of our club members owns European Wax Centers in Dallas, including the one in Addison. Her glove supplier mistakenly sent her the XL gloves. When she contacted them about the mistake, she was told to keep the gloves. Since no one on her staff uses the XL gloves, she donated them to the Addison Midday Rotary Club who donated them to the Addison Fire Department, who will put them to good use.
The Addison Fire Department uses almost exclusively XL gloves. 12 cases are 120 boxes of gloves.
