Monica Christopher serves Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) as the foundation’s Senior Vice President, Chief Giving and Community Impact Officer. She oversees the teams responsible for grantmaking, cultivating and stewarding donor relationships, and the implementation of North Texas Giving Day.
Community Foundation of Texas is a grantmaking public charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of people in North Texas. CFT’s mission is to create a thriving community for all.
As one of the largest community foundations in the nation, CFT professionally manages more than 1,000 charitable funds for families, companies, foundations, and nonprofits and has awarded more than $2 billion in grants since its founding in 1953. CFT awards more than 5,000 grants per year.
Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas (NTX) Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.
