Parent Support Specialist at George H.W. Bush Elementary School
Thomas Cantu is the Parent Support Specialist at George H.W. Bush Grade School in Addison.
The Parent Support Specialist serves as the main resource for families in the school by providing information about educational opportunities, engagement activities and linking parents and families to needed community resources.
The Parent Support Specialist works to increase parent and family engagement at the school as well as serves as the liaison to enhance the academic success of students.
Mr. Cantu is a Dallas native and attended The University of Alabama. He has taught English as a Second Language and Spanish. He resides in Oak Cliff with his dog, She-Ra, and is very passionate about cycling.
