Addison Midday Rotary Club arranged for a $4,500 donation to Metrocrest Services. On March 24, 2020 the Board of the Addison Midday Rotary Club approved a $2,000 donation to Metrocrest Services to support their programs including their food pantry. On March 25 District 5810 announced the District would match up to $1,250.00 per grant request, resulting in a $2,500.00 total grant, to meet the critical needs of communities in the district. In addition, each club was invited to add to that amount. Grant funding was mad available thru the District Designated Funds (DDF). The District rules and process applied to this one-time grant. On March 26, the Board of the Addison Midday Rotary Club approved an additional donation of $1,250 to Metrocrest Services and approved a grant application to District 5810 for a matching grant from the District Designated Funds. On March 31, District 5810 approved our matching grant from 3250. Addison Midday Rotary Club quickly wrote an additional check to Metrocrest Services for $1,250. |
