The month of February is special in the Rotary calendar since it is designated World Understanding Month. The month also includes the anniversary of the founding of Rotary International on February 23 1905, now designated World Understanding and Peace Day.
The Addison Rotary Club has a friend going to an eye clinic, in March, in Mexico. If you have any old, but in good shape, unused eyeglasses, you can donate them to the eye clinic in Mexico. Donations are needed by Feb 16.Contact President Jerry if you have any old glasses to donate.
Clubmember Mary Jo has arranged for a table in the name of the Addison Midday Rotary Club.
The Board would like to fill the table with club members.
