AMRC 2020 Support for Santa's Heroes
Addison Midday Rotary Club did not get to wrap presents this year for Santa’s Heroes.  The program was greatly reduced due to COVID-19.  We continued to support this program by donating $1,000 in gift cards for the Addison Police and Fire Departments to distribute to needy families in our community.  The needy families were identified by Metrocrest Services! Our donated funds were raised through our Flag Lease Program.  addisonmiddayrotaryflags.com

AMRC Picks-Up White Rock Creek Trails
In December 2020, the Addison Midday Rotary Club picked pick up litter along the White Rock Creek Trail in Addison.  Why December? – No snakes and the vegetation had thinned due to the frost.  We also saw the great carvings / art installation along the trail. The carvings were made in trees that were toppled in a windstorm.  Thank you, club member Mary Jo, for organizing the cleanup work with the Addison Parks Department and providing refreshments.  Mary Jo loves this park where the Addison Arbor Foundation turned storm damaged tree stumps into art! Great job everyone!
