March is Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Month – Over 750 million people in the world lack access to safe water and more than 2.5 billion people lack access to adequate sanitation facilities. At least 3,000 children die each day from diarrheal diseases caused by unsafe water. Rotary's projects give communities the ability to develop and maintain sustainable water and sanitation systems and support studies related to water and sanitation.
The Board of Directors of the Addison Midday Rotary Club has voted to support the MetroCrest Keyholder Breakfast. This includes supporting our member attendance at this event. There will be no regular meeting on this date.
The cost of the event is $75. The Club will contribute $50/member, and the member will pay the reminder $25. We plan to reserve at least one table. We need a minimum of 10. All are welcome. If you plan to attend, please contact Cynthia.
