As Rotarians, let's see what we can do for basic education and literacy in our communities and throughout the world. Worldwide, 67 million children have no access to education, and more than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate.
Ms Crowling will tell us ‘What’s new’ at the school. Club members are encouraged to bring dry erase markers for the teachers. (If you are unable to make the meeting and wish to donate dry erase markers, contact Nancy Williams)
ALL September Roundtable attendees are being asked to wear Hawaiian Shirts or Hawaiian attire as we get in the spirit thinking about our Rotary International Convention next year!
The September Roundtable will be held Saturday, September 14 from 9:30am to 12:00PM at the iHeart Media Center in Dallas. The Rotary Club of Dallas will be hosting. This event is open to all Rotarians.
Help support the RYLA 5810 Foundation this NTGD! September 19, 2019
Every year, Camp RYLA 5810 has the opportunity to impact 185+ juniors in high school, from all over District 5810 for 6 days of camp. All Rotarians know that the impact of those 6 days, last the other 359 days of the year and beyond. The RYLA 5810 Foundation, was created to not only support Camp functions, but to help us build towards our greater mission of becoming a global leader in alternative, highly effective leadership training for leaders from youth to executive level.
The RYLA 5810 Foundation asks you to consider giving on North Texas Giving Day! You can also preschedule your gift starting September 9th. Your gifts will support the continuation of the excellent programming currently offered by our organization, with the support of District 5810 Rotary clubs, and help RYLA 5810 keep an eye to the future.
Save the date! Celebrate the power of volunteerism at the 7th Annual Seasons of Service Luncheon on Monday, October 7, from 11:30 a.m . to 1:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott, Carrollton Conference Center.
