Shane Peterman has worked extensively in show business for over 25 years as a chief executive, entrepreneur, artistic director, executive producer, associate producer, casting director, director and performer. He’s been involved in hundreds of productions. He comes from a long family line of entrepreneur's and business owners and opened his first business in 2003 following a successful performance career. Shane currently leads Addison’s highly acclaimed professional theatre, WaterTower Theatre in Addison as the Producing Artistic Director. Shane recently led the pre-Broadway World Premiere Musical, GOIN’ HOLLYWOOD penned by David Krane and Stephen Cole, the third pre-Broadway premier of his producing career thus far headed to London in September. Several more projects are in development including; ALL ABOUT BETTE written by Camilla Carr (made its Palm Springs debut last week), SAY GOODNIGHT written by Grammy and Emmy Award Winning Team, Rick Hawkins, Steve Dorff and John Bettis, and SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME based on the New York Times Best Seller and 2017 Paramount Pictures movie by Ron Hall. In late 2024, Shane was asked to join the Benefit Committee for The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York City's historic school for the performing arts, to honor Pamela Moller Kareman and Mary Steenburgen alongside Honorary Chair Ted Danson.
Previously, Shane was Producer for Lyric Stage. He was instrumental in its relocating to Dallas’ historic Majestic Theatre and in programming several award winning seasons.
